Spring colours on a small ranch near Osoyoos, BC

Before we settled on Bridge Lake as our future home, we toured all of BC and part of the Yukon to find the best place to live. From Vancouver we travelled in a rented RV along the US border to the Okanagan. The varied landscape, rich vegetation and beautiful deciduous trees looked very attractive to us, but ultimately the climate was too arid and hot for our taste.
