Going out on Ghost Lake for an evening paddle. Cariboo Mountains Provincial Park, BC

You reach the boat launch on Ghost Lake by a narrow footpath about 1km from the campground. We carry the kayak, but it is too far to bring my Zodiak. So, Anne goes out for a paddle while I walk the short distance to the Ghost Lake Falls with our dog Lena. Those falls are quite impressive, the Matthew River Falls a little bit downstream even more so. When you leave the sheltered bay with the boat launch, make sure to stay close to the northern shore ... or you might end up in the falls.
